About
The first female NACS Chimney Sweep in Shropshire and surrounding areas
Hi, I’m Rachael, a professional fully insured accredited member of the National Association of Chimney Sweeps and NVQ qualified, based near Ludlow in the beautiful Shropshire Hills.
I love the warm cosy feel an open fire or woodburner brings to a home, a place to make memories and spend the long dark winter nights in front of. I believe it is important to care for your chimney and fireplace to keep you safe and warm and enjoy giving all my customers advice to get the most out of their appliance.
After 25 years as a dog groomer I decided to change careers and with a love of fire, cleaning and meeting new people, I knew that it was the career for me.
I am passionate about the environment and make sure that I minimise the environmental impact of my work by using bio-degradable gloves, bags and tape where possible, and educating home owners on the most environmentally friendly fuels to burn.
I am friendly, reliable and thorough and will leave your house as clean and tidy as when I arrived, don’t expect a super-speedy job as I like to ensure that your home will be safe and that you can ask all the questions you want. I look forward to meeting you…
